BSNL Launches FTTH Plan With 750GB FUP and 100 Mbps Speed at Rs 1277

After unveiling the Rs 777 broadband plan, BSNL, the government-owned PSU has introduced yet another broadband plan of Rs 1,277 on a pan-India basis, except Andaman & Nicobar. This new plan offers better download speed and more FUP than the Rs 777 plan. This is possibly one of the best broadband plans introduced by BSNL in recent times, but it’s valid only for new users, same as the Rs 777 plan. BSNL is also providing unlimited voice calls with this tariff plan, and it will be available for users to choose from June 12. Also, this is a promotional plan, meaning it will be valid only for 90 days from the date of introduced. But if the demand for the plan is high, BSNL will extend it further. After unveiling the Rs 777 broadband plan, BSNL, the government-owned PSU has introduced yet another broadband plan of Rs 1,277 on a pan-India basis, except Andaman & Nicobar. Moving onto the benefits offered by the BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 1277 broadband plan, it gives the user up to 100 Mbps of speeds with 750GB FUP limit. Post the FUP limit, speeds will be reduced to 2 Mbps. In contrast, the Rs 777 broadband plan gives 50 Mbps of download speed along with 500GB FUP and 1 Mbps after FUP speed.

The minimum hire period for this plan is one month and a security deposit of Rs 1,277 will be collected while setting up the connection.

Furthermore, BSNL is offering the plan in annual payment option, two-years payment option and three years payment option at Rs 14,047, Rs 26,817 and Rs 38,310 respectively.

Users will also receive one free email ID and 1GB of space with this broadband plan. The Rs 777 broadband will also be available for users starting June 12 across the country.

BSNL has maintained the leadership in India’s Broadband market for more than ten years now. The telco currently has 57% of market share in the country, but other players are slowly catching up. Reliance Jio is expected to set its foot in the broadband market very soon with free 100 Mbps connection and 1TB of FUP for one month. Also, the Mukesh Ambani-owned telco is expected to provide free services to the users for at least three months under the Welcome Offer program, during which the users are required to pay Rs 4,500 as a refundable security deposit.
